About The Author
Dr. Simeon Hein, Ph.D. is a sociologist, author, and researcher best known for his work exploring the intersection of frontier science, consciousness studies, and anomalous phenomena. He earned his doctorate in sociology from Washington State University, where he focused on statistics, research methods, and social change. Since the mid-1990s, Dr. Hein has taught and practiced remote viewing—a form of intuition training originally developed under U.S. government research—and founded the Mount Baldy Institute to study subtle-energy and consciousness-related phenomena. His books, including Opening Minds, Black Swan Ghosts, and Dark Matter Monsters, examine topics such as crop circles, Bigfoot, UFOs, and the possibility of unseen energetic dimensions of reality. Through his lectures, workshops, and media appearances, Hein promotes open-minded scientific inquiry into unexplained events and the hidden capacities of human perception.
